Meaningless Personal Worth Calculation

It is said that the human body consists of about $2.73 worth of minerals, and several gallons of water. Women are sold on the sex-slave market for around $8,000 or so. Most of the human population lives on less than something like three dollars a day. You get my drift.

If you add up my education (with interest on loans), and my surgery multiplied by 4 (for the other three limbs and the torso as a base for the value of my body), plus the average 1.5 million a middle-class American family spends raising and providing for a child, I am worth:

let me find my calculator...

in round figures: $2,000,000 in terms of resources invested in me. If we were to include my life-time ecological and global trade footprint, my own salaries, regular medical care, birthday presents after the ages of 18, Sally, the three horses that have been mine ... ... ... ...

Well, let's just say that I have some giving back to do. Don't we all?

Interesting. I think the $8000 for a sex slave is a little off, though. That may be for some, but there are documented regular, frequent cases of families selling their daughters in India and Nepal for an average of $40-200.
