Pesto du Mardi

Tuesday Pesto, because pesto is never the same. This one is for people who can cook, because I have no idea how much of anything was in here. Just follow each ingredient with "to taste."

Basil (from Jasmine's garden)
Olive oil
Lemon Juice
Garlic
Onion Powder
Pepper
Asiago cheese, grated

Whirl all that in a machine.

Serve on crackers, bread, fingers, as you prefer.

Also, finished the syllabus for the second class, the 102. Now much crushing of skull against Ireland paper. Still am having very hard time of it..... Gah. Feh. Bother.

ha! Glad you used it! I meant to say, or thought of saying about the basil after you left in regards to our speculation about what to do with so much of the stuff, that, gee wiz, it's great on sandwhiches, in eggs, tossed raw in a salad, thrown into some cooked greens, on a pizza, to garnish a glass of lemonaide, floating in a tumbler of vodka....

yep. Some of that we did. It's just that I can get real tired of a flavor. EG: I have a moratorium on tomatoes for a few days here. I'm done. I'll come back. Now, in vodka... THAT I did not think of. There's a little left still. Will have to test that notion. Lemonade, oddly, has not been in large supply around here. And greens? I might have to drug my mother to get her to make greens. Just not on her list. Pity. Thanks again!
