My dream life. Oy. Last night, I was casing a new school at which to teach. The place looked like a cruise ship / casino on steroids. Glitzy, architecture of no sense at all. It was impressive, and incredibly annoying and wrong. Then, some "doctor" told me I wasn't well and I needed to semi-permanently glue this strip of cloth dipped in herbs to my arms for four months. I thought not, and told her that if I needed cheering up, the cookie dough in the freezer would do just fine. She said it was a secret mixture, nearly magic. So I smelled it.
Did you get that? SMELLED it. In my dream. Never before. It was lavender and chamomile and hint of anise. Really, I was so surprised that I nearly woke up. I smelled something in a dream.
Then, there was a honking in the front of the house, and this dark haired man threw two puppies out the window of his car. They promptly begged to be let in. They looked like a cross between a Leonberger and Oz's flying monkeys. They were quiet obviously dangerous. The way yearling cheetahs are obviously dangerous. But so darn cute. I wanted to love and feed them. The "doctor" would let me let them in, so I started to go out in the yard.
And then, Foxy dog wanted out and jumped on my bed.

I just grabbed a bunch of Radiolabs podcasts, one of which was about sleep and dreaming. I'm pretty sure this is the one... really fascinating stuff.
