Goshen Market

Every Saturday in the summer, one block of downtown hometown is a local farmer's market. I have RHUBARB, baby, and oak moss infused goat's milk soap, a small bottle patchouli lotion to mix into a Big bottle of scentless lotion (to dilute a bit, patchouli being the force of nature that it is), a pint of white raspberries (to go in the rhubarb tart, with some ginger), and had a slice of rhubarb pie for breakfast. The tart crust is cooling in the fridge as we speak. Did I mention the rhubarb? With all the usual accouterments.

Discoveries: Luna Herb Co. Represented today by a sweet hippie girl of rapunzelesque hair and enviable ink. They make salves that heal from plants that grow here. Also, Willow Tree Soaps, represented by rather more conventional folk. Nice soap. Lots of nice soap, and a super convenient bug-off stick of lavender and eucalyptus and verbena, which I also promptly purchased.

Total damage: 22 $ US. . . . . And home again jiggity-jog just in time to get out of the soppy hot air, to put a heat pad on the shoulder for the Knot of Wicked formed there from increased depth of arm yoga yesterday.
