It's a Good Day

Well, skippy-kay-yay! Co-Editor and I got an email tangle un-ed, and now there's more Murdoch Anthology articles on promise. This newest from Japan. I'm hoping, hoping it will fit. The whole point of the book is bring some focused attention back to the sheerly magnificent applicability of M's work to our present conundra. So, we have England, Scotland, the US, Italy, Turkey, Japan; Philosophy, Literature, Political Theory, Influences and Implications. You name it. I'm sooooooo giggly happy.

Also, am nearly off narcotics and tranquilizers. V. Happy about that. Can now apply downward pressure with left arm, so can cut own food again. Small progressions, good progressions. Will be months before I can independently put on my own bra or do my hair, but Fleur is game. Hmmm, and button-fly jeans are just more trouble than they're worth right now. Which, you know, kinda limits my denim.

Irigaray Criclet is meeting at my house Sunday, as driving in the city is not a great idea in my condition. ALLLLL we need is me in a car wreck. Yeh. So the girls are game for a trip to the country.

Wrote and revised a completely hysterical Dear John letter to America that Speed says I should email to John Stewart. Parts of it made Hemingway cry with humor. Good there. Plus evidence of real mental activity. Back to work for me soon.

And I decided that when this arm is fixed, I'm tattooing it. Yep, you heard me. Little Miss No Thanks on the body art is getting some ink. And here it will be:

In black and blue, and dig on all that symbolism.

And yes, I WILL still inherit the dragon tapestries. Dad will just have to eat that one.

Cheers All.
