YUM, OK, GAH

YUM: J, here in known as SMGS, or possibly Yum, as you are in need of a nickname and that one fits you, I'm shocked, amazed, happy, and bereft at how I'm going to miss you. Pusan will be the richer. I'll be watching for plane tickets and clarity of X-factors in my future. And I promise I'll remember. You should too.

OK: Jobs applied for in Washington state and Ohio, really like the gig in Ohio. Small State Uni, in a little town much like my little town, but right on the Ohio River, and lovely that. Would really be happy in Ohio gig. It's not Ireland, but I could drive home from Ohio.

Book review ARTICLE to write on Kickin' Woman Writer anthology for Big HUM Journal, by introduction and invitation and agreement. YAY!

Irigaray Circle Paper all done. Inspiration to go the other way and expand the original (conf. paper was a cutting-down) into the article I always imagined and get that in a FancyPants Journal of American Lit. Oddly, all the work I was doing on Stein is making this possible. Also have found how to talk about the influence of Bonnefoy on Graham without just going Look Isn't This Obvious. -- That or the Murdoch essay... you know me, too many irons in the fires, balls in the air, songs to sing, pies into which to stick thumbs.

GAH: Reading through old writing on Graham, I used to have to write about Lacan. GAH. Soooo happy I don't have to write about Lacan anymore. Made me feel icky.
