~Mardi Gras

Yeh, no thanks. It's snowing, visibility about 1/4 mile, wind from the north at 20mph. Now, in STL, they do MG in the snow, the rain, the whatever because it's STL and the weather is, shall we say, variable. Bummer. I was looking forward to the costumes, the festival, the floats (which the news says is pretty heavy on pirates this year ???, and we know how I love pirates) the music, the mischief. So, back to note taking and doodling around in my head. Which, is taking up more time than I wanted, but it's my way of getting my thoughts together. About 20% of that whole process ends up in the actual paper. And 'they' want to run intellectual pursuit on some efficient model . . . fat chance of that.
