Quit it.

I sent email to two friends in Israel this week, checking to see if they're still there. So far, I got one back from Avner, a gentle soul, a husband, a father, a philosopher.

We are OK
actually we were in the war zone before the conflict in the north started
and now we are still in a "not so safe" place but it seems almost half of the country is now in the same condition.
how many more casualties will it take for all these fools (form both "sides") to understand that their actions only cause destruction on their "side"?

next week I'll be in Germany for a conference
a little worried to leave the family here without me

I am certain as death that in Lebanon, in Palestine, in Iraq, we are here thinking this very thought, "their actions will only cause destruction on their 'side'". For in Lebanon, and Palestine, and Iraq, and Israel, and the US there are these people, being exploded while drinking their coffee, who are wise enough to see that our peace is being ignored by the Jacks In Charge.
